Kevin Herlihy

Kevin is a senior operating executive with more than fifteen years of leadership experience. Today he serves as Vice President of Strategic Business Operations at a national sports events and data company, reporting to ownership with oversight of an $100M+ annual budget.

He is also an owner. He co-founded World Champion Sports Cards, a specialty retailer with three locations, where he runs finance, legal, HR, purchasing, ecommerce and marketing. He operates the Palm Beach Card Show, featuring more than 850 vendors in a 100,000+ sq ft convention center, and had a large hand in building Global Awards, a private awards company, from scratch.

He is also an investor. Kevin manages a private investment portfolio and actively invests at the seed stage, backing founders and working alongside them on operations, pricing, hiring and go-to-market.

Herlihy Consulting Group is where that experience goes to work for other organizations. Since 2023 HCG has advised investors and operators on software, point of sale and payments, direct-to-consumer and membership models, streaming and analytics, facility energy costs, and retail and collectibles.

Beyond the desk

Kevin played four years of NCAA Division I athletics at Savannah State University, where he was a starter and team captain. Away from work he is an avid golfer and a devoted tennis fan, with trips to three of the four Grand Slams so far.
